With heartfelt apologies, I need to correct our earlier announcement regarding the solar eclipse on Wednesday, August 12.
I mistakenly shared that the eclipse would be visible in California and coincide with our 5 PM Khandro Thuk Thik Ngondro teaching with Tulku Thadral Rinpoche. The eclipse will not be visible from California, and its greatest point occurs at approximately 10:46 AM Pacific Time, several hours before our teaching.
I sincerely apologize for the confusion. 
Our aspiration to recite the Kunzang Monlam, the Aspiration Prayer of Kuntuzangpo, on this auspicious day remains.

Solar and lunar eclipses are traditionally regarded as especially powerful times for practice, when prayers, aspirations, and virtuous activities are said to have great potency. In connection with this auspicious celestial event, we invite everyone to join in the recitation of the Kunzang Monlam (Samantabhadra’s Aspiration Prayer), dedicating the merit for the benefit and awakening of all beings.
