Neten Chakcho Prayer is an Homage and Offering to the Sthaviras that we have been reciting here at Pema Osel Ling before Buddha Puja during this Miracle Month.

It begins:

ལག་མཐིལ་ལྟར་མཉམ་རིན་ཆེན་རྒྱན་གྱིས་སྤྲས། །
LAK T’HIL TAR NYAM RIN CHHEN GYEN GYIY TRAY
The ground is smooth like the palm of the hand, bedecked with jewels
ལྗོན་ཤིང་ཆུ་མཚོས་བརྒྱན་པའི་ས་གཞིའི་དབུས། །
JÖN SHING CHHU TSHÖ GYEN PAY SA ZHI Ü
And adorned with wish-granting trees, rivers, and lakes. In its center,
རིན་ཆེན་ལས་གྲུབ་གཞལ་མེད་གྲུ་བཞི་པ། །
RIN CHHEN LAY DRUB ZHAL MÉ DRU ZHI PA
Within a palace made of jewels with four sides and four doors,
པདྨ་ཉི་ཟླས་བརྒྱན་པའི་གདན་སྟེང་དུ། །
PEMA NYI DÉ GYEN PAY DEN TENG DU
Upon a throne adorned with a lotus, a sun, and a moon,
ཐུགས་རྗེས་རྩོད་པའི་དུས་ཀྱི་གདུལ་བྱ་རྣམས། །
T’HUK JEY TSÖ PAY DÜ KYI DUL JA NAM
Is the compassionate protector of beings, the one who sets
རྣམ་གྲོལ་ལམ་ལ་འགོད་མཛད་འགྲོ་བའི་མགོན། །
NAM DROL LAM LA GÖ DZAY DRO WAY GÖN
The beings of these troubled times on the path to liberation,
ཐུབ་པ་མཆོག་དང་གནས་བརྟན་ཆེན་པོ་རྣམས། །
T’HUB PA CHHOK DANG NAY TEN CHHEN PO NAM
The supreme Shakyamuni, together with the great sthaviras
འཁོར་དང་བཅས་པ་གནས་འདིར་གཤེགས་སུ་གསོལ། །
KHOR DANG CHAY PA NAY DIR SHEK SU SOL
Come now to this place together with your retinues, we pray!

February 24th, Chotrul Duchen full moon day, marks the end of the 15 Days of Miracles. During Chotrul Duchen it is believed that the effects of both positive and negative actions are multiplied ten million times.
