Lama, think of me!

My kind, precious root Lama, essence of all Buddhas in one, to you I pray.

Bless my mindstream, I beseech you!

Grant your blessings that the essence of leisures and opportunities remain.

Grant your blessings that I remember death and impermanence.

Grant your blessings that trust in karma arises.

Grant your blessings that my attachment to samsara collapses.

Grant your blessings that I see my Lama as Buddha.

Grant your blessings that my mind blends with the Dharma.

Grant your blessings that I become free from attachment to this life.

Grant your blessings that I have no unfinished business in my mind at death. Grant your blessings that I have no extreme pain at death.

Grant your blessings that I be adept in the profound path of transference.

Grant your blessings that I be liberated in the intermediate state’s clear light.

Grant your blessings that I recognize the nature of phenomena (chos nyid).

Grant your blessings that delusion be liberated within itself.

Grant your blessings that I receive supreme assurance of rebirth in the pure lands.

Grant your blessings that I awaken to my true nature, awareness itself.

Grant your blessings that I accomplish the immortal vase body.

Grant your blessings for the spontaneous completion of the two goals!

I, Jigdral Yeshe Dorje, wrote this in to a request by the faithful lady Dechen Tso. May this prove virtuous!

OM (the supreme mantra, most excellent praise)
the tantric vowof Vajrasattva.

O Vajrasattva, grant me your protection.
Abide firmly in me.

Make me totally satisfied. Increase perfectly within me.
Please hold me with your compassion.
By your blessing, bestow the attainments on me.
Also, may I attain the power of all activities.
Make my mind virtuous.
HUNG (the essence of the wisdom heart)
HA HA HA HA
(represent the four boundless wishes of bodhicitta,
the four joys, the four empowerments, and the four kayas)

HO (is the exclamation of joy)
Victorious One who embodies all the Tathagatas,
may Vajrasattva never abandon me.
I pray, please make me a vajraholder.
O great precept deity.
AH (is to unite inseparably).
