Faith and Fervent Devotion

Dudjom Sangye Pema Shepa Rinpoche, Mount Kalish 📸 Marcel Poullin

“We need to understand the distinction between faults and noble wisdom qualities.  When we do, then we can recognize our master’s noble wisdom qualities and perceive our master as Buddha.  If, with that kind of confidence, we then practice guru yoga even just a little bit, nothing more profound is needed.  Merely by praying to and meditating upon the master, you too will awaken as Buddha. On the basis of faith and fervent devotion, it will happen.”  ~Dudjom Rinpoche III

Vajrasattva Hand Mudras

In 2001, Lama Tharchin Rinpoche taught how to do the hand mudras for the the Dorsem Lama Chopa practice by Kyabje Dudjom Rinpoche, Jigdral Yeshe Dorje. Because this is the practice we have been doing for Dudjom Rinpoche III Sangye Pema Shepa’s Maha Parinirvana, it’s a good time to reintroduce this recording to learn the hand mudras. ~ Recorded at Pema Osel Ling with a two hour runtime.

Also available, instruction text in a black and white photographic arrangement of Dorsem Lama Chopa Mudras: the ritual hand gestures by Lama Sonam Rinpoche published by Vimala Treasures.

The Maha Parinirvana Livestream from Pema Osel Ling continues daily 9:00 am – 12:30 pm and 2:30 – 6:00 pm until March 18th. All sessions are free to attend via livestreaming and all are welcome to attend. Registration is needed for the livestream link.
